White Potassium Silicate MR-7090

Description

White Potassium Silicate MR-7090 is manufactured by Cathedral Stone Products. This mineral based coating is best for masonry surfaces such as concrete, brick, limestone, brownstone, sandstone, and terra cotta.  92% vapor permeable when applied directly to masonry! Which is a must for lime mortar! Color fast! Potassium Silicate Coating is a mineral paint and forms a molecular bond with the masonry substrate. Withstands extreme climate conditions and is a water repellent. The one gallon comes in a 2 gallon bucket. This is because you can dilute it with Liquid Silicate.

This coating can be applied over latex and acrylic paints, but may minimize the effectiveness and breathability of the potassium silicate. Use for both interior and exterior. 

Coverage:

1 Gallon covers approx. 240 ft² with a single coat.
