Compact 120

Description

The Compact 120 is a vertical shaft, roller pan mixer. These mixers are ideal for lime mortars, plasters, hempcrete, earth mortars, daubing, log home chinking, recycling old mortars/plasters, mixing semi dry concrete and screeds. The mixing action is that of a crushing and kneading action. The twin rollers are mounted on either side of the vertical shaft. They mix and turn the lime mortar/plaster quickly. It evenly distributes hair or fiber into the basecoat of plasters. 

Using this machine you can recycle your old worn out plaster and mortar! Save that old horse hair plaster, and add them into the mixer. The rollers will crush the old plaster into reuseable aggregate. Add fresh lime putty, water, and horsehair. Reinstall! The Compact 120 and 220 promotes the reuse and recycling of old lime plaster and mortar enabling them to continue performing for many more centuries to come.
