Description
The Heavy Duty Rust Remover is a biodegradable gel based cleaner. Formulated for the removal of heavy rust staining and efflorescence on brick, brownstone, concrete, limestone, marble, sandstone and unpolished granite.
Protect areas where the remover is not desired. Thoroughly mix the Heavy Duty Rust Remover with a high power drill. Thoroughly saturate the substrate with water. Use a natural bristle brush or a roller with a 3/4″ nap (for smooth surfaces like brick or marble) to apply a thick even layer. General dwell time is between 5-30 minutes. For extremely thick rust staining, leave the rust remover on the substrate 4-6 hours. DO NOT ALLOW TO DRY ON SUBSTRATE! Rinse with copious amounts of water (light pressure wash).
Always prepare a mock-up. If using various products to determine the stain, label the mock-up and dwell times to determine suitability of product to the stain.
A 1 Gallon Bucket typically covers 80-120 ft².
